La Guaira & Caracas Earthquake — Active Response

Venezuela is on the ground. Let's help them stand back up.

On June 24, two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela's central coast, devastating La Guaira — the hardest-hit state — and shaking Caracas. Families have lost homes, hospitals are overwhelmed, and basic supplies are running out. Freedom Hope Church is mobilizing funds for our brothers and sisters in Venezuela — no matter where in the U.S. you're giving from. Will you stand with them?

Declared a disaster zone

A coastline that has suffered before — and a church ready to respond now.

La Guaira sits just thirty minutes from Caracas, the gateway to Venezuela and home to families who, this week, lost everything in seconds. Rescue teams are still searching collapsed buildings. Hospitals lack supplies. Communication lines in some areas remain cut off.

Freedom Hope Church was planted to carry hope to the Hispanic community here in Oklahoma — and that hope doesn't stop at our border. As Venezuelan immigrants ourselves, this tragedy is personal. We are partnering with trusted local contacts in Venezuela to turn your gift into food, hygiene kits, and first-aid supplies for the families who need them most.

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. This week, our family in Venezuela needs us to carry theirs.
